I just love little tucked away corners that you can enjoy people watching, high-voltage caffeine, and maybe just maybe a little nosh or two. My documentary, Where The Music Leads, has sent me scurrying all over scouting locations and I stumbled into Taste and See in Macon, GA and I loved it. So quiet and pocketed away. This artist gallery alley is a gated portion right outside the main eatery and as you can see, it is a lush little oasis. The staff and manager were amazingly sweet and accommodating to this unannounced blogger. Freshly cleared rain kept brave souls inside so that I could pose to my heart’s delight. If you’re like me and this Independence Day will not be embraced with backyard picnics but, instead will be an after-hours bite with friends and colleagues then this outfit might be the inspo you need to carry you through the day into the evening. Meetings with my creative and management team mean that these red slightly flared tuxedo inspired pants may be an option. They have a lovely little satin striped detail down each leg that make me swoon. Paired with a navy silk button down blouse, and nude flats I feel festive without having to wrestle with a flirty white ruffle dress the entire day. P.S. Taste and see has a Celebration Cake that had some mini-samples available…I may (or may not) have partaken in them.
